After being in touch for almost a year, the opportunity finally arose for FVC to welcome Aishwarya Gujarathi to our team

Aish has completed studies and qualifications in a Masters of Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Science in Botany.

She is a motivated environmental scientist and specialist ecologist with a particular passion for the field of botany. Aish is experienced in all aspects of environmental consulting, from desktop assessments, field planning, and conducting field assessments in remote and harsh environments; to data processing, flora identifications, GIS, and technical reporting.

Aish’s specific project experience includes detailed flora and vegetation surveys for environmental impact assessments, weed mapping, vegetation and weed monitoring, fauna surveys, Black-Cockatoo habitat assessments and archaeological surveys for Aboriginal heritage assessments. Aish’s field experience has been predominantly in the regions of the Pilbara, Goldfields, Murchison, Avon Wheatbelt and Swan Coastal Plain. Her keen interest in flora identifications has positioned Aish to assist and learn from FVC’s botanical taxonomists, with a view for her to specialise in this important capability as her career develops.

When Aish isn’t working, she enjoys playing badminton, and she loves being outdoors among nature, going for hikes and checking out new walk trails. Someone who enjoys keeping her mind and body active, Aish also enjoys mental and physical challenges in a team environment with friends, such as escape rooms, and board games.

Welcome to the team, Aish!
