Welcome Megan!
Earlier this month, the FVC team were delighted to welcome Megan Gray back to the team. She has re-joined us in a permanent capacity as Graduate Ecologist, following on from a period working with FVC as a casual a couple of years ago.
Megan has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Curtin University. She has a range of practical experience in the environmental industry, including field surveys with consulting teams and for a number of PhD ecological research projects, as well as in specialist roles with a mining company in the South West of Western Australian. Specifically, Megan’s industry experience has included various flora, vegetation and fauna surveys and monitoring programs and she led the design of a long-term monitoring plan as part of a large-scale mine rehabilitation program. Megan is proving herself to be a bit of a statistics and GIS wizz and very capable of planning complex and large-scale field studies. She is experienced in the methodologies utilised for biological surveys and reporting in accordance with current EPA guidance and continues to build on her environmental consulting career experience.
With the very busy spring period ahead of us, Megan is a most welcome addition to the team. She has arrived just in time to provide invaluable input into the long list of projects the FVC team has scheduled for spring 2021.
When she’s not busily working as a consultant, Megan enjoys gardening, hiking, hanging out with family (including her adorable dog) and getting creative with various art projects.
Welcome back Megan!
